July 2, 2022 - Flying to Millville for Breakfast

Chuck and I headed over to Millville, New Jersey for breakfast at Vernas Flight Deck Diner.  Here we are crossing the Delaware Bay and wondering if these two ships are going to have a head on collision.

Looking at the Cohansey River as it heads inland.

The Conhansey River as it flows south to the Delaware Bay.

Looking down at Halka Nurseries private airport.

After landing at MIllville, taxiing by the abandoned PZL TS-11 Iskra.

We had a delicious breakfast at Verna's Flight Line Cafe, then departed.

Looking back at Millville Airport after takeoff.

There are a bunch of racetracks adjoining the airport.  Below is an off-road race track.  On the other side are two asphalt race tracks.

The Manumuskin River starts right by Millville Airport, and runs to the Delaware Bay.

Here I'm looking down the Manumuskin River.

Turning and burning.

Once I reached the Bay, I turned north and flew over the south Jersey marsh a little.

Now over the Eastern Shore, looking down at a huge WalMart distribution center in Smyrna, Delaware.

Passing by Full Throttle Farm Airport, Delaware.  It's a private airport with asphalt runway.  Four nice big hangars down there.  I wonder what kind of planes they house?
